Podcasts were pretty new in Malaysia back in the early 2010s, and there were few channels in Bahasa Malaysia (BM) that addressed current affairs, as well as the environment, technology and rights.
I thought, why not, and started glombng. Over the next four years, I spoke to subject matter experts from different disciplines to produce content in BM for a general audience. Some of the issues discussed continue to be relevant today. There is definitely more serious, non-salacious BM content today, but it still needs to grow and be supported.
If you have an idea to fill that gap, I strongly encourage you to pursue it. Happy to give pointers as a retired podcaster.
